Course Title: Underground Stormwater Management

Course Objectives:
Upon completion of this course the designer will have a better understanding of the following:

• The cause and effects of stormwater runoff and what the EPA and Municipality requires of you as the designer, including EPA Best Management Practices for both structural and non-structural solutions.
• The options for underground water storage systems, and understanding the advantages and disadvantages of these system through a comparison study.
• The benefits of using a Modular Detention System vs. the traditional water storage systems.
