Investigate the interplay of color and light: this in-depth course explores design impact of lighting, color temperature, Color Rendering Index (CRI), and Light Reflectance Value (LRV). Additionally, we'll identify problems that occur as a result of product substitution and color matching.
Learning Objectives:
- Summarize the role of light and the process that occurs between the brain and the eye for humans to see and perceive color.
- Examine the characteristics of different light sources, specifically color temperature, and color rendering index and the impact on color.
- Explain Light Reflectance Value (LRV) and the different types of light distribution.
- Identify problems that occur as a result of product substitution and color matching.
