The Sustainable Wall Solutions: Copper Cladding Design and Benefits Webinar is a one-hour introduction to Copper and Copper Alloys, concentrating on wall cladding system design. The presentation explores the useful physical properties and sustainable attributes of copper and copper alloys in relation to wall cladding and related flashing design. A discussion of industry design practices and situations to avoid are followed by a question and answer session.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand where copper comes from and how it is defined as sustainable
- Define copper's physical properties, how design professionals make use of these properties when designing high performance, efficient, building and infrastructure
- Define the main types of copper wall cladding systems, examples of these systems, flashing as well as situations to avoid
- Understand recent copper wall cladding projects, providing examples of current copper/copper alloy installations. Images provide examples of situations where design could be improved
