In 1990, Ruskin was acquired by Tomkins PLC, a London-based manufacturing management company. Tomkins is fiscally very strong and conservative with a broad base of products, markets and geographic operations with over 50% of worldwide volume being U.S. based. Ruskin has seven strategically located manufacturing plants with over 900,000 square feet and over 1300 hourly workers.
Ruskin is the worldwide leader in dampers for the tunnel ventilation and waste-water treatment facilities and has supplied engineered equipment on major projects throughout the world.
