This one hour course will discuss the importance of safe patient handling in relation to ceiling lift systems and how these systems contribute to patient dignity and well-being. The design professional will review various ceiling lift models, which will include mounting, track, and motor options and their respective applications and installation features. Design considerations will be reviewed for each component of ceiling lift systems and how these systems provide safety for both the patient and caregiver.
