Ron Blank & Associates, Inc., located in San Antonio, TX is now hiring an individual with architectural/engineering/construction industry experience to educate other design professionals in the leading A&E firms across the U.S. about specifying new & innovative building products which our clients produce and promoting our award winning continuing education services.
We are a growing company, and are looking for an individual that wants to put down roots into our organization in San Antonio. Since this position involves a lot of training and relationship building with our clients to build up and maintain their confidence with our Spec Consultants and our program, we are not looking for someone who wishes to take on this position as a temporary stop-gap on a longer career path. That being said, this is not a traditional career path for a design professional nor is it a commission-based sales job. The role you will have with design professionals is that of a salaried, consultant/information provider/relationship developer where meetings with such professionals will result in a hand off and lead opportunity for our clients who are building product manufacturers. You will be introducing the product experts of our building product manufacturer clients to the top architects and specifiers across the country as an architectural specification consultant.
U.S. travel (5 days per week, 24 weeks per year) and your travel expenses will be paid. The job requires that you must live within daily commuting distance of San Antonio, TX. Weeks you are not traveling you will be spending time in our office working on trip preparation, product training sessions, business development (for commission based bonuses), and assisting with continuing education course development and/or review. We are a continuing education Provider for the AIA, USGBC, IDCEC, RCEP, etc. with a thirty-year history of providing architectural marketing and continuing education services.
