Annette Starkweather brings a wealth of business management and financial analysis skills from her experience as a business owner and as a manager for a Fortune 500 company with worldwide operations.

She has been an Accounting Instructor with San Antonio College and The University of Texas (evening division 1979-1982). The Manager of Exploration and Production Accounting, Manager of Corporate Accounting and International Oil & Gas Accounting at Tesoro Petroleum Corporation. While there she developed strategies to improve planning, reporting, and SEC compliance. Ms. Starkweather also initiated automated systems and training programs to reduce department costs and managed oil and gas contracts with foreign governments in South America and the Pacific Rim. (Employed by Tesoro Petroleum from 1974 through 1988.)

Annette then opened Starkweather Investments, Inc. where she provided consulting services to small businesses in the areas of business development, management strategies, and alternative financing requirements, with an emphasis on financing and the oil and gas industry (1988–1999).

Ms. Starkweather is a co-founder of FaceKey Corporation, which was incorporated early in 1999. She held the position of VP of Operations and Business Development until 1-04-2021. Her duties include administrative functions, sales and business development, shipping products including negotiations for shipping rates, negotiations for lease of space and signing loan documents and other financial arrangements (1999-Current).
